Five senior barbers work here, each with their own signature, and you choose at every booking who cuts. That's the practical part of experience: come back to the same one and you don't have to explain anything again. Switch and you get a different reading of the same head — which is also an argument.
How you notice it at the chair
In the questions before the cut. Whether you wear the hair forward or to the side, whether you blow-dry, how much time you have in the morning. That sounds like small talk and isn't: a cut that only looks good freshly cut is half a cut. And in someone saying when something won't work — a low whorl won't take a skin fade, and that belongs said beforehand.

Yes, you choose at every booking. If they're fully booked we say so honestly rather than talking you into another slot.
What if I don't know what suits me?
That's exactly what the consultation before the cut is for. We look at head shape, whorls and hair growth and make a proposal — and also say what we'd advise against.
