BARBER PRATERSTERN · ONYX CutsBarber near Praterstern — one stop away, not at the station
There is plenty on offer around Praterstern, and much of it runs on passing trade: in fast, out fast, the next one is already waiting. We're one stop further, on Nordbahnstraße — close enough that it's no detour, far enough that nobody walks in because they've just missed a train.
Getting here
Trams 5 and O run from Praterstern into Nordbahnstraße; the stop has the same name and it's about 150 metres from there. On foot it's around ten minutes — the route goes through the Nordbahnviertel and is lit in the evening. U1, U2, the S-Bahn and the regional trains all stop at Praterstern.
Why not right at the station
A salon at a transport hub lives on throughput, and throughput means a clock: twenty minutes a head, or the numbers don't work. We work by appointment and schedule 45 minutes for a haircut. That's hard to reconcile with a location at the station — and it's why we're one stop further out.
When it pays to book ahead
Always, but especially late afternoon and on Saturdays: we're usually booked solid then. Dropping in can work; relying on it shouldn't. Booking online you see straight away who has time when.
