MENS HAIRDRESSER VIENNA · ONYX CutsMen's hairdresser in Vienna — an hour, not a conveyor belt
The difference between a men's hairdresser and a quick trim isn't the tools, it's the time. Ten minutes are enough to make hair shorter. They are not enough to ask how much time someone actually has in the morning, whether the whorl at the nape will break the line, and whether the haircut being asked for suits the shape of the head.
What an appointment covers
A consultation before the clippers run. A wash — wet hair cuts more precisely. The cut itself with clippers, scissors and straight razor. Styling at the end and the recommendation of which product, and how much of it, gets you the same result at home. Plus a drink. None of it is billed separately; €42 is the price for all of it.
How long it takes
A haircut alone about 45 minutes, hair and beard a good hour, the full programme with shave and facial up to 110 minutes. We plan generously on purpose. Whoever plans tight takes the time back from the client at the end — usually from the consultation, because it's the only part whose absence isn't visible.
By appointment, not by queue
We work by appointment only. Your slot is reserved, and you're seen at the agreed time rather than when the person before you is done. You can try walking in — on busy days we're booked solid, and then we'd rather send you away with an appointment than have you wait an hour.
Where we are
Nordbahnstraße 39/1A in Leopoldstadt. Trams 5 and O stop at Nordbahnstraße, about 150 metres away. From Praterstern with U1, U2 and the S-Bahn it's one stop. If you drive, park at the BOE Garage Praterstern, Nordbahnstraße 49.
