The route from Brigittenau
On foot via Nordwestbahnstraße or Dresdner Straße towards Nordbahnstraße: ten to fifteen minutes from the southern part of the district. Tram 5 connects the two directly and stops at the door. From Handelskai take the S-Bahn to Praterstern and one stop further. By bike, under ten minutes from almost anywhere in 1200.
Why the district line means nothing
When looking for a barber, the district is a proxy for distance and nothing more. Living in Brigittenau near the border, you're closer to us than to a salon at the far end of your own district. Travel time is more useful than a postcode — and from most of 1200 it's under a quarter of an hour.
