Taborstraße is one of the busiest axes in Leopoldstadt, and barbers line it accordingly. If you live or work there, the choice is between the nearest and the right one. We're about ten minutes' walk east, on a quiet side street — far enough from the through traffic, close enough for the way home from work.
The route from Taborstraße
On foot via Große Mohrengasse or Novaragasse towards Nordbahnstraße: around ten to twelve minutes. By tram 2 to Praterstern and change to the 5, or simply walk on from Praterstern. By bike you're here in five minutes; there's space to leave it out front.
Why not the nearest salon
Because distance says nothing about craft. Taborstraße has very good shops and very fast ones — the price list usually tells you which is which. A fade, a clean beard line or a scissor cut needs time in the calendar. Ten extra minutes of walking are cheaper than a cut that stops sitting after ten days.
